Point: Let no one deceive you with an isolated Godless Love and Godless love talks. Love is of God and in fact, God is love. 1 John 4:7. John 3:16 says For God so Loved the World, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believe in Him would not perish but have everlasting life. God gave us Jesus out of His love for us and then say I have given you what I am, which is Love, He gave Himself so that we might all be saved.
Now, to hate anyone in your heart is to hate the one whom God so loved to die for to save and that would mean you want to fight the Kings of kings and the LORD of Lord, Jehovah Sabaoth. It would be a disaster to fight God by hating and destroying those whom He so loved to die for thier salvation. God will unleash His wrath upon such.
Question today is What are you giving first?, do you give the Gospel of Jesus like God did first?
The very first “True Love” is to Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul and strength according to the scripture of today in Deuteronomy 6:5.
We must live a life that constantly demonstrate the Love of God by Obeying His commandments(John 14:15) in
- – Love our enemies in praying for their salvation with hopes of their repentance – Hard but important as this is what God did in Jesus Christ
- And According to John 21:17 – Preaching the gospel to the world is how we show we love Jesus as He asked Peter the apostle if He loves Him that He must feed His sheeps spiritual food.
- Giving both spiritual and physical gifts because God gave first in John 3:16 for our salvation through Jesus Christ. I will submit to you that just physical giving without spiritual giving of the living bread of life is incomplete.
I pray for someone reading this, from today, the True Love of the Lord of your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with your might to follow His footsteps and obey His commandments be re-ignited by the Fire of the Holy Ghost, from right now! in the name of Jesus Christ Son of the living God.
